DESCRIPTION
A basic coated air hardening electrode specially designed for hardfacing and build up on worn out machine parts which are subjected to extremely severe service conditions involving a combination of impact & abrasion. The weld deposit is extremely hard, sound and non-machinable.
APPLICATIONS
Suitable for the surfacing on metal cutting and forming tools, shears and croppers, oil expellers, cane cutting knives, conveyor buckets and mixer blades etc. Deposit should not be more than 3 layers. In difficult steel or carbon steel cushioning layer is recommended using P-401.

PRECAUTIONS
Redrying Condition : 250°c for one hour before use.
